CPC January 2022 Fast – January 3rd, 2022 through January 31st, 2022
Foods Ok to Eat and to include in the Fast
Fruits
All Fruits.
Vegetables
All Vegetables.
Whole Grains
Plain Oatmeal, Brown Rice, Breads(only whole wheat grains or 12 grain).
Liquids
Spring or Distilled Water Only unless Fruit or vegetables that are juiced, puree, or blended.
Proteins
Fish only for meat but only fish with scales such as Salmon, Tilapia etc. no catfish. Eggs, Beans, Seeds, Nuts, and Tofu and Soy products are recommended to eat for protein.
Dairy Products
Only Fat Free or Reduce fat Milk, Yogurts, or Cheese. No Eggs.
Foods to Fast from or Avoid – Foods NOT ok to Eat
All Fried, Fast foods, Sugar, Processed foods, Sodas, coffee, tea, energy or carbonated drinks, alcohol, Ice Cream, Candy, Chips, Junk Food, Cakes, and All meats EXCEPT Fish with scales,.
Prayer
Prayer and Meditation on the Word of God 3 times a day, Morning, Afternoon, and Evenings. Focus your prayer on spiritual growth in 4 areas:
Keep a journal and list. Write down the names of people you are praying for. Write down what God speaks to you and what you hear. Write down your experiences in fasting, your challenges, failures, and victories for the whole month of January 2022.
